After ten years, Taco María closed our original Costa Mesa, California, location at the end of July 2023.

We couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve accomplished and the place Taco María has come to occupy in the broader community of modern Mexican-American restaurants. Still we knew for a few years that we had outgrown the original space, and it became evident that in 2023–at our ten year mark and the end of our lease–it was the right time to find a new home for what we do. 

We never could have imagined, ten years ago, the connections we would make in that small space: with our loyal guests, with our immensely talented colleagues, with the farmers, importers, and artisans we have grown up alongside. Now it’s time to plan for the next chapter. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
